Video is King!

Since 2018, TikTok has taken social media by storm with an eerily accurate algorithm and short 1-3 minute videos across hundreds of niches and communities. As a result, other platforms, like Facebook and Instagram, have been playing catchup with features like Reels.

Influencers are drawn to the creative, limitless, and greater authenticity that videos provide. Whether short-form, live, or long-form, videos are the most engaging types of in-feed social content. 66% of consumers report that short-form videos are the most engaging, with images coming in second with 61% of consumers. Don’t limit your business; get in front of the camera and show off your incredible products and services.

Don’t Avoid Social Issues Be Tactical

Users connect with businesses they can relate to and trust, but that can leave businesses in a sticky area. In a SproutSocial study, 34% of consumers believe it is important for businesses to raise awareness and take a stand on sensitive topics. While pigeonholing your business on one side of an issue can limit your audience, it can also bring consumers to you and encourage them to support your business more than ever.

The caveat is that consumers expect a quick response. In the same SproutSocial study, 44% of consumers want a response to their comments, direct and private messages, and tagged posts in 1-12 hours.

Meat Asia BBQ is a growing and developing Brooklyn-based food company specializing in Asian skewers and so much more. They want to build brand awareness and pivot social media content to reflect a more Asian, modern, pop and graffiti style.
The Challenge
Meat Asia is event-based and does not currently have a website. They want to pivot their content to a more eye-catching and graphic style. Overall, the challenge is to create great content that will connect with people and gets them to order their food and attend their events without external information, like a website.
The Solution

We’ve focused on developing the style of the images with a mix of Asian and New York flair. It has included adding their logo to very dynamic art and photography, making memes with manga, and editing “urban” photography with their branding. It’s all about being fun and creative.

We’ve focused our social strategy on making known what makes this car cover so great compared to others. We’ve mixed social mediums – graphics, videos, and a contest. We wanted to highlight the emotion between a person and their vehicle and why it’s important to offer their car protection.
